To change the temperature scale on the Braun ThermoScan Ear Thermometer IRT6030CA, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the thermometer is turned off.
2. Press and hold down the Power button.
3. After about 3 seconds, the display will show this sequence: °C / SET / °F / SET ...
4. Release the Power button when the desired temperature scale is shown.
5. There will be a short beep to confirm the new setting, and then the thermometer will turn off automatically.
