The installation process for the Argo Portable Air Conditioner is simple. Here are the steps:
1. Place the unit close to a window or an exhaust outlet.
2. Connect the exhaust hose to the rear part of the air conditioner.
3. Depending on the available installation options, you can choose one of the following methods:
a. Use with an end fitting for the window:
- Stretch the flexible hose so that it reaches the outside (maximum 1.5 meters) and hook it to the rear part of the air conditioner.
- Open the window and lock one of the two leaves with the handle.
- Rest the terminal connection on the fixed leaf and bring the other leaf of the window close.
b. Use with a window unit kit:
- Take the porthole kit accessory to a glazier to make a hole in the glass.
- Insert the window unit into the window.
- Insert the round fitting into the retractable flexible pipe and insert the latter with its round fitting into the window unit without the plug.
- Insert the round fitting onto the flexible pipe.
- Insert the flexible pipe into the rear of the air conditioner.
4. Ensure that the flexible pipe is not twisted or bent and that it slopes downwards for proper drainage.
5. Connect the power cord to a suitable electric socket (220-240V).
6. Insert the supplied batteries into the remote control and make sure the poles match.
7. Select the desired operating mode from the remote control.
