Yes, there are fees associated with selling on Amazon. The fees you will pay depend on your selling plan and the types of products you sell.
For the Individual selling plan, there is a $0.99 fee for each item sold. This plan is suitable if you plan to sell fewer than 40 items a month, want to keep upfront costs low, don't need advanced selling tools or add-on programs, or are still deciding what to sell.
For the Professional selling plan, there is a flat fee of $39.99 per month, regardless of the number of items you sell. This plan is suitable if you plan to sell more than 40 items a month, want access to advanced selling tools, want to apply for add-on programs like Amazon Business, Launchpad, or Handmade, or are an established eCommerce seller.
In addition to the selling plan fees, there are other fees you might encounter, such as referral fees (a percentage of the selling price that varies depending on the product category), variable closing fees (applicable only to media categories), and shipping fees (based on the product category and shipping service selected by the buyer).
