To set up the Canon Pixma MX922 Inkjet Office All-In-One printer, follow these steps:
1. Place the machine near the access point and computer.
2. Remove the protective sheets and tape from the printer.
3. Connect the power cord to the printer. Do not connect the USB or Ethernet cable yet.
4. Press the ON button to turn on the printer.
5. Select your language on the printer's screen and press the OK button.
6. If needed, you can change the language setting by pressing the Back button.
7. When prompted, press the OK button to continue.
8. Open the Document Cover and the Ink Cover.
9. Remove the protective wrap and orange tape from the ink tanks.
10. Insert and push down the ink tanks into their matching color slots. Make sure the ink lamp is lit for each tank.
11. Close the Ink Cover, Document Cover, and Paper Output Tray.
12. After about 3 minutes, check that the screen changes as shown in the figure. If an error message appears, make sure the ink tanks are installed correctly.
13. Close the Paper Output Tray. The Output Tray Extension will close automatically.
14. Perform the Print Head Alignment by following the instructions in the manual.
