To set up the NETGEAR AC1750 WiFi Mesh Extender, follow these steps:
1. Place the extender in a central location between your router and the area with poor WiFi coverage.
2. Plug in the extender into an electrical outlet.
3. Press the WPS button on the extender and then on your router (if your router supports WPS). This will automatically connect the extender to your existing WiFi network.
Alternatively, if your router doesn't support WPS, you can connect to the extender's WiFi network using a computer or mobile device and follow the setup wizard.
4. Once the extender is connected to your WiFi network, you can unplug it and move it to a location that is about halfway between your router and the area with poor WiFi signal.
5. Plug the extender into an electrical outlet in the new location and wait for the Power LED to light green.
6. Use the Router Link LED on the extender to find a spot where the connection between the extender and the router is optimal. If the Router Link LED doesn't light amber or green, try plugging the extender into an outlet closer to the router and repeat the process until the LED lights up.
7. Finally, connect your WiFi-enabled devices to the extender's WiFi network. The extender uses the same WiFi name (SSID) and password as your existing WiFi network.
