To install the GRACO Contender 65/ Admiral 65 Convertible Car Seat, please follow the steps outlined in the instruction manual provided. Here is a general overview of the installation process:
1. Start by determining whether you will be installing the car seat in the rear-facing or forward-facing mode, based on your child's age, weight, and height.
2. For rear-facing installation, adjust the recline angle of the car seat to the appropriate position. Use the recline indicator on the car seat to ensure the correct angle.
3. Place the car seat in the desired seating position in your vehicle. Make sure the car seat is securely positioned and level.
4. Attach the lower anchor connectors (LATCH) to the designated anchor points in your vehicle. Pull the straps tight to ensure a secure connection.
5. If using the seat belt installation method, thread the seat belt through the appropriate belt path on the car seat. Buckle the seat belt and pull it tight to secure the car seat.
