According to the Milwaukee Electric Tool Warranties, every Milwaukee power tool is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship. The warranty period for Milwaukee power tools, including cordless products, is five (5) years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise noted. This warranty covers the repair or replacement of any part on the power tool that is determined to be defective by Milwaukee. However, it does not cover damage caused by repairs made by unauthorized personnel, misuse, alterations, abuse, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or accidents. To avail of the warranty, the power tool must be returned to a Milwaukee factory Service Center location or Milwaukee Authorized Service Station, with the proof of purchase included. It is important to note that separate warranties apply to certain products such as job site radios, LED work lights, air nailers, cordless battery packs, gasoline-driven portable power generators, hand tools, hoists, M12 Heated Jackets, reconditioned products, and test & measurement products. Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain the applicable warranty.
