To set the time on the Skyscan 86722 atomic clock, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the outdoor temperature is displayed on the clock before setting the time.
2. Slide open the battery cover on the back of the atomic clock.
3. Insert 2 x AA, 1.5V batteries into the battery compartment, making sure to observe the correct polarity.
4. Replace the battery cover.
5. Once the batteries are in place, all segments of the LCD will briefly light up, and then the indoor temperature, time as -:--, date as 1.1., and weekday will be displayed.
6. If the indoor temperature is not displayed after a few seconds, remove the batteries and wait for at least 10 seconds before reinserting them.
7. Within 2 minutes of activating the atomic clock, place the batteries into the temperature transmitter.
8. After a few seconds, the atomic clock will start receiving data from the transmitter, and the remote temperature will be displayed on the clock.
9. After the clock receives the outdoor temperature, you can set your time zone using the manual settings.
10. Press the SET key to enter the manual setting mode.
11. The time zone (LCD2) will start flashing. Select the desired time zone by using the + key.
12. Press the SET key to enter the DST setting.
13. The ON digit will start flashing on LCD1. Set the DST ON or OFF by pressing the + key.
14. Press the SET key to enter the language setting.
15. Set the desired language for the weekday display in LCD2 by using the + key.
16. Press the SET key to enter the manual time setting.
17. The hour digits will start flashing on LCD1. Set the desired hours by pressing the + key, followed by pressing the SET key.
18. The minute digits will start flashing. Set the desired minutes by pressing the + key. If the + key is held, the units will increase by 5.
19. Press the SET key to move to the year setting, and continue setting the year, month, date, weekday, 12/24 hour time display, and temperature display as desired.
20. Press the SET key to exit the setting mode and switch back to the normal display mode.
