To change the water filter in your Samsung refrigerator, please follow these steps:
1. Locate the water filter compartment. It is usually located inside the refrigerator, either at the top right corner or behind the vegetable crisper drawer.
2. Open the water filter compartment by pulling the cover towards you or by pressing the release button, depending on the model.
3. Once the compartment is open, you will see the water filter cartridge. Grasp the cartridge firmly and twist it counterclockwise to remove it from the compartment.
4. Before installing the new water filter, remove the protective cap from the end of the filter.
5. Align the new water filter with the compartment and insert it into the opening. Twist the filter clockwise until it locks into place. Make sure it is securely installed.
6. Close the water filter compartment by pushing the cover back into place or by pressing it until it clicks, depending on the model.
7. After installing the new water filter, it is recommended to flush the system. Dispense at least 2 gallons of water through the water dispenser to remove any air or impurities from the new filter.
