To activate your AT&T PREPAID account, please follow these steps:
1. Insert the correct size SIM card into your device. Refer to your User or Quick Start Guide or search online for your device's SIM size.
2. If you are a new AT&T PREPAID customer or transferring your number from another carrier, proceed to Step 2. If you are replacing your SIM, skip to Step 3.
3. Once your SIM card is inserted, dial 611 from your device and say "More Options" at the main menu.
4. Select "0" to speak to a representative about transferring your number if needed.
5. If you already have an active AT&T account and are replacing your SIM, there is no need to reactivate a new SIM. Simply update the SIM number on your account by visiting att.com/myprepaid and selecting "My Device." Update the new SIM number or call 800.901.9878 to update it over the phone.
6. If you need additional assistance, you can call AT&T customer support at 800.331.0500.
