To pair your Samsung Smart Remote with your TV, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your TV and the remote are turned on.
2. Wait for a few moments to see if the devices pair automatically. If they don't, proceed to the next step.
3. On your TV, navigate to the Settings menu.
4. Select the "General" or "System" tab.
5. Look for the "External Device Manager" or "Universal Remote" option and select it.
6. Choose the "Pairing" or "Add Device" option.
7. On your Samsung Smart Remote, locate the "Pairing" button. It is usually located near the bottom of the remote, on the backside.
8. Point the remote towards the front of the TV and press and hold the "Pairing" button for 3 seconds or more.
9. Release the button when you see a message on the TV screen indicating that the pairing process has started.
10. Wait for the TV to search for the remote and establish a connection. This process may take a few moments.
11. Once the pairing is successful, you should see a confirmation message on the TV screen.
