The game of Cricket is a popular dart game that can be played with Viper Standard Darts. Here are the rules and instructions for playing Cricket:
1. Objective: The objective of Cricket is to hit each scoring segment from 15 through 20 a total of three times. Scoring segments from 1 to 14 do not count toward players' scores.
2. Scoring: A single segment counts as one hit, a double segment counts as two hits, and a triple segment counts as three hits.
3. Closing Numbers: The first player to close each number by scoring in each segment three times is the winner.
4. Gameplay: Each player takes turns throwing three darts. The player closest to the bullseye goes first. Any dart that falls, bounces out of the board, or misses the board counts as a miss and receives no score.
5. Scoring Example: If a player hits the triple 20 segment with their first dart, they would score three hits. If they hit the single 20 segment with their second dart, they would score one hit. If they hit the double 20 segment with their third dart, they would score two hits. This would bring their total for the 20 segment to six hits.
6. Winning: The first player to close all numbers from 15 to 20 and have the highest score wins the game.
7. Keeping Score: A good way to keep score is by using two lines and a circle. Each player's hits for each segment can be marked on the lines, and the circle can be used to indicate when a number has been closed.
