To set up the HP DeskJet 4100e All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:
1. Start by unpacking the printer and removing all packaging materials.
2. Connect the power cord to the printer and plug it into a power outlet.
3. Press the power button on the control panel to turn on the printer.
4. Open the ink access door and remove the protective tape from the ink cartridges. Insert the cartridges into their respective slots and close the ink access door.
5. Pull up the input tray and slide open the paper guides. Load a stack of plain paper into the input tray and adjust the guides to fit the paper size.
6. Open the output tray and pull out the tray extender.
7. Install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your wireless network.
8. Once the printer is connected to the network, you can start printing, scanning, and copying using the HP Smart app or other compatible software.
