To connect the Roborock S7 Vacuum to the mobile app, follow these steps:
1. Download the Roborock or Xiaomi Home app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the app and create an account if you don't have one already.
3. On the app homepage, tap the "+" button in the top right corner to add a device.
4. Follow the prompts to select the Roborock S7 Vacuum from the list of available devices.
5. Make sure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
6. Press and hold the Wi-Fi indicator button on the Roborock S7 Vacuum until you hear the "Resetting WiFi" voice alert. The Wi-Fi indicator will start flashing slowly.
7. Wait for the app to detect the vacuum. Once detected, select it from the list of available devices.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the Wi-Fi setup process. This may involve entering your Wi-Fi network password.
9. Once the Wi-Fi setup is complete, the Wi-Fi indicator on the vacuum will turn steady, indicating a successful connection.
10. You can now control and monitor the Roborock S7 Vacuum using the mobile app.
Note: If you encounter any issues during the Wi-Fi setup process, make sure you are using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and that your smartphone is within range of the network. If the robot waits more than 1 hour for a connection, the Wi-Fi will be automatically disabled. In this case, reset the Wi-Fi on the vacuum and try again.
