To start the MASTER Kerosene Radiant Heater MH-80-OFR, follow these steps:
1. Fill the fuel tank with kerosene or other approved fuel until the needle on the fuel gauge points to "F".
2. Replace the fuel cap and tighten it firmly.
3. Connect the heater to a three-prong (grounded) power source using a three-prong (grounded) extension cord that is at least 1.8 meters long and has a minimum of 14 AWG rating.
4. On the first ignition or after refueling, you may hear a grinding sound just before ignition. This is the fuel pump removing air from the fuel line.
5. Push the power switch to the "ON" position.
6. The power indicator lamp will light, and the heater will ignite.
7. To stop the heater, turn the power switch to the "OFF" position. The heater will go through a cooling cycle before it can be unplugged.
