The cooking time for a turkey in a Butterball Electric turkey fryer is approximately 3 to 4 minutes per pound. It is recommended to cook the turkey until the dark meat reaches an internal temperature of 175°F to 180°F and all white meat reaches an internal temperature of 165°F to 170°F. Please refer to the cooking chart in the instruction manual for more precise cooking times based on the weight of your turkey.
