To set up your Echo Show 8 Gen2, follow these steps:
1. Plug your Echo Show 8 into an electrical socket using the included power adapter.
2. Wait for about a minute for the display to turn on and Alexa to greet you.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your Echo Show 8. Make sure you have your Wi-Fi network name and password ready.
4. During setup, you will connect to the internet to have access to Amazon services. Log in with your existing Amazon account username and password, or create a new account if you don't have one.
5. After completing the setup, you can download the Amazon Alexa app on your phone or tablet to get more out of your Echo Show 8. The app allows you to set up calling and messaging, manage music, lists, settings, and news.
