1. Plug one Powerline adapter into a power outlet near your router. Make sure not to plug it into an extension cord, power strip, or surge protector.
2. Use an Ethernet cable to connect the Powerline adapter to a LAN port on your router.
3. Plug the second Powerline adapter into a power outlet in the location where you want to add Internet access.
4. Wait until the Pick A Plug LEDs on both adapters are lit.
