To clean the Instant VORTEX PLUS 6 Quart Air Fryer, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the air fryer and let it cool to room temperature before cleaning.
2. The cooking tray is dishwasher safe. You can also hand wash it with warm soapy water and a soft sponge or brush. Make sure to remove any grease and food debris.
3. The air fry basket and outer body should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth or sponge. Wipe them dry to avoid streaking. Do not immerse the appliance in water or rinse it under a tap.
4. To remove baked-on grease residue, you can spray the affected area with a mixture of baking soda and vinegar. Then, wipe clean with a soft damp cloth. For stubborn stains, allow the mixture to sit on the affected area for several minutes before scrubbing clean.
5. Do not use harsh chemical detergents, scouring pads, or powders on any of the parts or components.
6. Make sure to dry all parts completely before using the air fryer again.
7. Avoid letting food and grease splatter build up around the heating element, as this can cause smoke, fire, and personal injury.
8. If you smell smoke, touch Cancel and unplug the appliance. Once cool, remove any food splatter or grease with a soft cloth and mild detergent.
