To change the battery in your Salter Personal Scale, please follow these steps:
1. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. If there is an isolating tab beneath the battery, remove it. If not, proceed to the next step.
3. Insert the new battery into the battery compartment, observing the polarity signs (+ and -) inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment securely.
5. Your scale is now ready to use with the new battery.
Please note that if the scale is not functioning properly even with a new battery, you may need to check the battery connections and ensure they are clean and properly fitted. If the issue persists, refer to the troubleshooting guide in the manual or contact Salter customer support for further assistance.
