To pair the VONZTEK BT782-D Wireless Headset with your device, please follow these steps:
1. For Phone/PC without Dongle:
- Make sure the headset is turned off.
- Press and hold the Multi Function Button (MFB) for 5-7 seconds until the LED flashes blue and red alternately. This puts the headset in pairing mode.
- On your phone/PC, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select 'BT-68' from the list of available devices to connect.
- Once connected, the LED on the headset will change to a slow blue flash, indicating a successful connection.
2. For PC with USB Dongle:
- Plug the USB dongle into your PC's USB-A port.
- Turn on the BT-68 headset by pressing and holding the MFB for 3 seconds until the LED flashes blue and red alternately. This puts the headset in pairing mode.
- Wait for 3-5 seconds for the dongle and headset to pair automatically.
- On your PC, click on the sound icon (bottom right side of Windows/top right side of MAC) and select 'BT-68 Dongle' from the list of available devices.
Note: If the headset and dongle do not pair automatically, you can manually initiate the pairing process by following these steps:
- After the dongle's blue light has been flashing for over 10 seconds, it will enter pairing mode (blue/red light flash).
- Press and hold the MFB on the headset for 5 seconds until the LED flashes blue and red alternately. This puts the headset in pairing mode.
- Wait for 3-5 seconds for the dongle and headset to pair automatically.
- On your PC, click on the sound icon and select 'BT-68 Dongle' from the list of available devices.
Once the VONZTEK BT782-D Wireless Headset is successfully paired with your device, you can use the MFB and volume buttons on the headset to control various functions such as answering/hanging up calls, playing/pausing music, adjusting volume, and muting the microphone.
