To change the batteries in the Emerson Sensi Smart Thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Remove the face plate of the thermostat by prying it up with a small screwdriver.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the face plate.
3. Take out the old batteries and dispose of them properly.
4. Insert two AA Alkaline batteries into the battery compartment, making sure to align the positive (+) and negative (-) ends correctly.
5. Place the face plate back onto the thermostat, ensuring it is securely attached.
It is recommended to replace the batteries when the battery indicator bars on the thermostat display reach 3 bars to maintain Wi-Fi connectivity.
