To set up your Hitron Cable Modem, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Check the package contents
Make sure you have received all the necessary components included in the package.
Step 2: Connect the cable port
Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the cable port on the back of the modem and the other end to the cable outlet in your home.
Step 3: Connect the power
Plug the power adapter into the power port on the back of the modem and connect the other end to a power outlet. Make sure the power is securely plugged in.
Step 4: Connect the Ethernet cable
Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the back of the modem and the other end to the Ethernet port on your computer.
Once you have completed these steps, your modem should start powering on and the LED lights on the front of the modem will indicate its status. Refer to the LED Display section in the user manual for more information on the different LED light indicators.
If you encounter any issues during the setup process or are unable to access the internet after completing the setup, please refer to the Troubleshooting section in the user manual for possible solutions. Additionally, you can contact your internet service provider for further technical support.
