To pair the SIT Proflame 2 remote control with your fireplace, please follow the steps outlined in the user manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Ensure that the fireplace is in the "OFF" position and the main power switch is turned on.
2. Locate the receiver box, which is typically located near the control valve or inside the fireplace.
3. Open the battery compartment of the remote control and insert the batteries according to the polarity markings.
4. Press and hold the "MODE" and "SET" buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds until the LED indicator on the remote control starts flashing.
5. Within 10 seconds, press the "ON/OFF" button on the remote control to start the pairing process.
6. The LED indicator on the remote control will flash rapidly, indicating that it is searching for the receiver.
7. Once the pairing is successful, the LED indicator on the remote control will stop flashing and remain solid.
8. Test the remote control by pressing the various buttons to ensure proper functionality.
Note: If the pairing process fails, repeat steps 4 to 7 within 10 seconds.
