To connect your Logitech K650 Wireless Keyboard to your device, you have two options: using a direct Bluetooth Low Energy connection or using the Logi Bolt receiver. Here are the step-by-step instructions for each method:
1. To pair through Bluetooth:
- Remove the pull-tab from your keyboard. It will automatically turn on, and a white LED on the Connect key will start blinking.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your device and add a new peripheral by selecting the K650 keyboard from your list of devices.
- Your keyboard and device will be paired once the LEDs stop blinking.
- Your computer may require you to enter a random set of numbers. Type the numbers and then press the Enter key on your K650 keyboard.
- Your keyboard is now ready to use.
2. To pair through the Logi Bolt receiver:
- Take the Logi Bolt receiver from the packaging tray for your keyboard and mouse.
- Insert the receiver into any available USB port on your desktop or laptop.
- Remove the pull-tab from your keyboard. It will automatically turn on, and when the white LED on the Connect key stops blinking, your device is successfully connected.
- Set the right keyboard layout for your computer's operating system by long-pressing the Fn key and the corresponding key for your OS (Fn + P for Windows, Fn + O for macOS, Fn + C for Chrome OS).
- Your keyboard is now ready to use.
Please note that for Chrome OS users, it is recommended to connect to your device only through Bluetooth Low Energy as USB receiver connectivity has some limitations.
