To clean the Instant Vortex Mini 2 Quart Air Fryer, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the air fryer and let it cool to room temperature before cleaning.
2. Remove the air fryer basket and clean it with a sponge or cloth using warm water and dish soap. Rinse well to ensure all grease and food debris are removed. Do not immerse the basket in water or machine wash it.
3. Clean the cooking tray with a cloth or sponge using warm water and dish soap. The cooking tray has a non-stick coating, so avoid using metal cleaning utensils to prevent damage.
4. Clean the cooking chamber with a sponge or soft cloth using warm water and dish soap. For baked-on grease and food residue, you can spray a mixture of baking soda and vinegar and wipe it clean with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, let the mixture sit on the affected area for several minutes before scrubbing.
5. Check the heating coil for oil spatter and food debris. Clean the heating coil with a damp cloth as needed. Ensure the heating coil is completely dry before the next use.
6. Clean the exterior of the air fryer with a soft, damp cloth or sponge and wipe it dry.
7. Let all surfaces dry thoroughly before using or storing the air fryer.
Note: Do not use harsh chemical detergents, scouring pads, or powders on any parts or components of the air fryer.
