To start and operate your Cat Portable Generator, please follow these steps:
1. Before starting the generator, ensure that it is placed on a stable and level surface, and that there is proper ventilation around it.
2. Check the fuel level and add fuel if necessary. The generator requires unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87.
3. Locate the fuel valve and turn it to the ON position.
4. If the generator has an electric start, turn the engine switch to the ON position and press the electric start button. If the generator has a recoil start, grasp the starter grip and pull it slowly until you feel resistance, then pull it quickly to start the engine.
5. Once the engine starts, allow it to run for a few minutes to warm up.
6. To provide power, connect your electrical devices to the generator using the appropriate outlets and cables. Refer to the generator's manual for information on the available outlets and their specifications.
7. To stop the generator, turn the engine switch to the OFF position and close the fuel valve.
