To erase files on the SONY IC Recorder, you can follow these steps:
1. Make sure the recorder is in the stop mode.
2. Press and hold the ERASE button. If the recorder is in playback mode, simply press the ERASE button.
3. The display will show "ERASE" to indicate that the erase function is activated.
4. Press the ERASE button again to confirm the deletion of the selected file(s).
5. The file(s) will be deleted and removed from the recorder's memory.
Please note that once a file is erased, it cannot be recovered. Make sure to double-check the files you want to delete before confirming the erase operation.
