To connect the JBL Bar 9.1 True Wireless Surround with Dolby Atmos to your TV, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your TV and the soundbar are turned off.
2. Locate the HDMI ARC or HDMI eARC port on your TV. This is usually labeled as "ARC" or "eARC" and is typically found on the back or side of the TV.
3. Connect one end of an HDMI cable (not included) to the HDMI ARC or HDMI eARC port on your TV.
4. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV ARC/TV eARC) port on the soundbar.
5. Plug in the power cord of the soundbar and the subwoofer to a power outlet.
6. Turn on your TV and go to the settings menu.
7. Navigate to the audio settings and look for an option to enable HDMI-CEC or HDMI control. Enable this option.
8. Turn on the soundbar by pressing the power button on the soundbar or the remote control.
9. Use the remote control to select the HDMI source on the soundbar. This may be labeled as "TV" or "HDMI IN".
10. You should now hear the audio from your TV through the JBL Bar 9.1 True Wireless Surround with Dolby Atmos.
Note: If your TV does not have an HDMI ARC or HDMI eARC port, you can also connect the soundbar to your TV using an optical cable (not included). Simply connect one end of the optical cable to the optical output on your TV and the other end to the optical input on the soundbar. Then, select the optical source on the soundbar using the remote control.
