To align the blades on your Wahl Clipper, follow these steps:
1. Compare your clipper blades with diagram G in the instruction manual to determine if realignment is necessary.
2. If your clipper has a taper lever, position it in the close cut position.
3. The end of the top blade teeth should be approximately 1/32" (.64 mm) back from the bottom blade.
4. The extreme left-hand tooth of the top blade must be covering or to the left of the first small tooth of the bottom blade.
5. The extreme right-hand tooth of the top blade must be touching the big tooth on the bottom blade.
6. If the blade alignment is incorrect, add a few drops of Wahl Clipper Oil to the blades.
7. Turn the clipper on for a few moments, then turn it off and unplug it.
8. Loosen the screws slightly and adjust the blades according to the steps mentioned above.
9. Tighten the screws after the blades are aligned.
10. Other than the blades, this clipper has no user-serviceable parts.
Please refer to diagram I in the instruction manual for a visual representation of the blade alignment process.
