To start the Simpson Premium Pressure Washer, follow these steps:
1. Make sure you have added fresh, high-quality unleaded gasoline with a pump octane rating of 86 or higher to the fuel tank. Do not overfill the tank.
2. Check the engine oil level and make sure it is at the proper level. Refer to the Engine Owner's Manual for the correct procedure.
3. Check the pump oil level by looking at the sight glass on the pump. The oil level should come to the dot in the middle of the sight glass. If the oil level is low, add SIMPSON Premium Pump Crankcase Oil or an SAE 15W-40 oil.
4. Connect the water hose to the water source and turn on the water supply. Allow the water to flow until a steady stream is present.
5. Verify that the filter screen is in the water inlet of the pump, with the convex side facing out.
6. Connect the high-pressure hose to the pump outlet.
7. Choose the correct nozzle for the job and install it on the spray wand.
8. Turn on the gas valve located at the bottom of the unit by pulling it out until it stops, then slowly push it back in until you hear a click.
9. Pull out the choke xxxx on top of the engine and push it in until you hear a click. Repeat this process several times until you hear a loud pop sound, indicating that the engine is running at full speed.
10. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to start the water flow.
11. The pressure washer is now ready to use. Adjust the throttle using the throttle trigger located on top of the unit next to the choke xxxx .
