To connect the Samsung HW-B650 soundbar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. HDMI Connection:
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI OUT (TV-ARC) port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port on your TV.
- Make sure the HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) feature is enabled on both the soundbar and your TV. This allows the TV remote to control the soundbar.
- Set your TV's audio output to "External Speaker" or "Audio System" to ensure the sound is routed to the soundbar.
2. Optical Connection:
- Connect one end of an optical cable to the DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL) port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical output port on your TV.
- Set your TV's audio output to "External Speaker" or "Audio System" to ensure the sound is routed to the soundbar.
3. Bluetooth Connection:
- Press the Bluetooth PAIR button on the remote control or press and hold the Source button on the soundbar for more than 5 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
- On your TV, go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select the Samsung HW-B650 soundbar from the list of available devices to pair and connect.
