To activate your Assurance Wireless phone, follow these steps:
1. Get your phone ready: Make sure the battery is charged by plugging the wall charger into an electrical outlet and connecting the USB Type-C connector to your phone. Do not attempt to remove the battery as it is non-removable and doing so may void the warranty.
2. Retrieve your PIN: If you forget your PIN number, dial 611 from your new phone and listen for your mobile number. Write it down. Then, call 1-855-336-8346 and follow the recorded directions to get your PIN. You will need your new phone number, the last 4 digits of your Social Security number, and your date of birth. Write down your new PIN and keep it in a safe place.
3. Activate your service: Press and hold the Power Button to turn your phone on. Allow hands-free activation to connect the phone to the network and check for updates. This may take 5-10 minutes and the phone may power off. After it turns back on, follow the on-screen activation instructions or dial 611 and follow the recorded instructions.
4. Complete setup screens: Once your service has been activated, press the Home button and follow the prompts to complete the setup screens.
Note: If you received a replacement phone or upgrade, you can skip the activation steps and refer to the manual for instructions on how to swap your service to the new handset.
