To charge the battery of the PHILIPS VoiceTracer Audio Recorder, follow these steps:
1. Connect the device to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
2. Make sure your computer is turned on.
3. The device will automatically be recognized as a mass storage device.
4. While the device is connected to the computer, it cannot be operated manually.
5. The battery will start charging. A charging battery icon will appear on the screen and the Record/Status LED will flash orange for a few seconds.
6. A complete charging cycle takes about 3 hours.
7. When the battery is fully charged, the charging battery icon will disappear and the Record/Status LED will stop flashing.
8. Disconnect the device from the computer.
Note: If you charge your device via a computer instead of using a power supply unit, the charging speed might be slower. For fast charging, it is recommended to use a USB power supply unit (not included).
