To connect your Roomba i2 to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
1. Download the iRobot Home App: Go to your app store and search for the iRobot Home App. Download and install the app on your smartphone or tablet.
2. Create an iRobot account: Open the iRobot Home App and create a new account. If you already have an account, log in using your existing credentials.
3. Power on your Roomba i2: Make sure your Roomba i2 is charged and turned on. Press the "Clean" button on the robot or on the remote control to turn it on.
4. Connect your smartphone or tablet to Wi-Fi: Make sure your smartphone or tablet is connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
5. Add your Roomba i2 to the app: In the iRobot Home App, tap the "+" icon to add a new robot. Follow the on-screen instructions to select the Roomba i2 model and enter the serial number of your robot. The serial number can be found on the bottom of the robot or in the packaging.
6. Connect your Roomba i2 to Wi-Fi: The app will guide you through the process of connecting your Roomba i2 to your Wi-Fi network. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and complete the setup process.
7. Test the connection: Once your Roomba i2 is connected to Wi-Fi, you can test the connection by using the app to control and monitor your robot. You can start cleaning jobs, schedule cleanings, and receive notifications about the status of your robot.
