1. Turn off the machine and unplug it from the electrical outlet for safety.
2. Remove the nozzle and brush roll cover by pressing the buttons on both sides of the brush roll cover and lifting it off.
3. Use a comb or your fingers to remove any debris or hair from the brush roll. Make sure to remove all tangled or wrapped hair.
4. Rinse the brush roll under running water to remove any remaining debris. Use your fingers to scrub the bristles gently.
5. Check the nozzle for any clogs or blockages. If there are any, use the Nozzle Clean Out Tool provided with the machine to remove the debris.
6. Rinse the nozzle under running water to remove any remaining debris.
7. Reassemble the brush roll and nozzle by aligning them with the slots on the machine and pressing them firmly into place. You should hear a click when they are properly secured.
8. Ensure that the brush roll cover is fully snapped into place by pressing it down until it clicks on both sides.
