The runtime of the APC Back-UPS will vary depending on the power requirements of the devices connected to it. For a desktop computer with a 900W power supply, the runtime will be shorter compared to devices with lower power requirements. To get an estimate of the runtime, you can use the PowerChute software provided by APC. The software takes into account the power draw of your connected devices and provides an estimated battery time. Keep in mind that the runtime will also depend on the battery capacity and the load on the UPS. It is recommended to connect critical devices to the battery backup outlets and non-critical devices to the surge protection outlets to maximize runtime.
