To connect external devices to your LG G2 OLED Smart TV, follow these steps:
1. Make sure both the TV and the external devices are turned off and unplugged.
2. Locate the HDMI ports on the back of the TV. These ports are labeled as HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.
3. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI output port on your external device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console).
4. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the corresponding HDMI input port on the TV. Remember which HDMI port you used.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each external device you want to connect.
6. Turn on the TV and the external devices.
7. Press the "Input" or "Source" button on the TV remote control to access the input selection menu.
8. Use the arrow buttons on the remote control to highlight the HDMI input that corresponds to the connected external device.
9. Press the "OK" or "Enter" button on the remote control to select the highlighted HDMI input.
10. The TV should now display the content from the connected external device.
Note: If you are connecting a device that does not have an HDMI output, such as an older DVD player or VCR, you may need to use alternative connection methods such as composite or component cables. Refer to the manual of your specific device for instructions on how to make these connections.
