According to the user manual, the filters in the Levoit True HEPA Air Purifier - Core 300 should be replaced every 6-8 months. However, this timeframe may vary depending on how often you use the air purifier and the air quality in your environment. The pre-filter can be cleaned every 2-4 weeks to maintain its effectiveness, but the True HEPA and activated carbon filters cannot be cleaned and will need to be replaced. If you notice increased noise, decreased airflow, unusual odors, or a visibly clogged filter, it may be time to replace the filters. It is recommended to use official Levoit replacement filters to maintain the performance of your air purifier.
