To charge the battery in your 2023 KIA SPORTAGE Hybrid, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the vehicle is parked and turned off.
2. Open the charging port cover located on the front driver's side of the vehicle.
3. Connect the charging cable to the charging port. The charging port has a light ring that will illuminate to indicate the charging status.
4. Plug the other end of the charging cable into a standard household power outlet or a dedicated electric vehicle charging station.
5. Ensure that the power supply is turned on and the charging cable is securely connected.
6. The vehicle will start charging automatically once the connection is established.
7. The charging status can be monitored on the instrument cluster or through the infotainment system.
8. Once the battery is fully charged, the charging port light ring will turn green, indicating a complete charge.
9. To disconnect the charging cable, press the release button on the connector and gently pull it out of the charging port.
