Cleaning the Silonn SLIM01G1 Portable Automatic Ice Maker is important to maintain its performance and ensure hygienic ice production. Here is the recommended cleaning procedure:
1. Unplug the ice maker and remove the ice basket.
2. Clean the interior of the unit using a soft cloth soaked with warm water and vinegar. Gently wipe the surfaces to remove any dirt or residue.
3. Rinse the interior with clean water to remove any vinegar residue.
4. Drain all the water from the unit.
5. Clean the exterior of the unit with a soft damp cloth. If necessary, you can use a mild dishwashing soap.
6. Do not use organic solvents, boiled water, detergent, strong acid, or strong alkali for cleaning.
7. Empty the water reservoir and dry it if the unit is not going to be used for a long time.
