To install the Yale Unity Entrance Lock, please follow these steps:
1. Prepare the door: Ensure that the door is properly aligned and in good condition. Remove any existing lock or hardware from the door.
2. Install the latch: Insert the latch into the edge of the door, making sure it is centered and level. Secure it in place using the provided screws.
3. Install the lock body: Insert the lock body into the door, aligning it with the latch. Secure it in place using the provided screws.
4. Install the strike plate: Attach the strike plate to the door frame, aligning it with the latch. Secure it in place using the provided screws.
5. Connect the cables: Connect the cables from the lock body to the control unit, ensuring they are securely plugged in.
6. Install the batteries: Open the battery compartment on the lock body and insert four AA alkaline batteries. Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly.
7. Test the lock: Close the door and test the lock by locking and unlocking it using the Yale Access App or the provided key card.
