According to the AeroGarden Harvest User Guide, you should add liquid plant food to the bowl when you first plant your seed pod kit and when the "Add Plant Food" reminder turns red every 2 weeks. The manual advises following the directions on the plant food bottle for feeding amounts and topping off the water level to the "Fill To Here" line. You can touch the button once to turn off the alert and reset the plant food timer.
