To set up the RANGEXTD WiFi Range Extender in Repeater Mode, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure the mode selector on the device is set to the "Repeater" position.
2. Plug the device into a wall socket and turn it on.
3. Press the WPS button on the device for 1-2 seconds. The WPS LED will slowly flash for approximately 2 minutes.
4. Within these 2 minutes, press and hold the WPS button on your wireless router for 2-3 seconds. This will initiate the WPS connection between the device and your router.
5. The device will automatically connect to your wireless router and copy the wireless key settings. The device's WiFi password will be the same as your AP/Router.
6. After the device has finished rebooting, go to the WLAN settings on your smart device (phone, computer, etc.) and connect to the new SSID created by the device.
Note: It is recommended to install the device in a suitable position where the connection between your router and the RangeXTD is stable. You can check the signal indicator on the device to find a suitable location. If the LED signal indicator is below 2 levels, try moving the device to a different location for better signal strength.
