To set up the AEOTEC Smart Home Hub, please follow these steps:
1. Connect the Smart Home Hub to a power source using the supplied power cable. It is recommended to place the hub in a central location in your home, away from other wireless devices.
2. Download the free SmartThings app from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) and create an account. Note that the setup process does not support the SmartThings Classic app.
3. Open the SmartThings app and select the "Add device" or "+" icon to begin the setup process.
4. In the device selection screen, choose the "Aeotec" brand.
5. From the list of Aeotec products, select the "WiFi/Hub" category and then choose the "Smart Home Hub (IM6001-V3P)" product.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions in the SmartThings app to connect the Smart Home Hub to your Wi-Fi network and complete the setup.
Note: If your Wi-Fi router has static IP configuration, it is recommended to disable it temporarily before onboarding the Smart Home Hub. You can re-enable it after the setup process.
