To charge your Kindle Fire HD, follow these steps:
1. Connect one end of the USB charging cable to your Kindle Fire HD.
2. Connect the other end of the USB charging cable to a Kindle PowerFast accelerated charging accessory (sold separately) or any other USB power adapter.
3. Plug the USB power adapter into a power outlet.
4. Your Kindle Fire HD will start charging automatically. The battery icon on the screen will indicate the charging progress.
