According to the user manual, you should change the main filter when the filter replacement indicator appears on the control panel. The indicator light will turn red after approximately 6 months of operation, indicating that it's time to change the main filter. It is important to use genuine Blueair filters for proper function and performance of the air purifier. To reset the filter replacement indicator after changing the filter, press and hold the button on the control panel for 7 seconds. The indicator light will flash for 4 seconds and then change from red to white.
