To set up your AcuRite weather station, follow these steps:
1. Unpack the weather station and remove the protective film from the LCD screen.
2. Install batteries in the outdoor sensor and display unit according to the polarity diagram in the battery compartment.
3. Place the display unit in a dry area and position the outdoor sensor in an area protected from direct weather elements.
4. Ensure that the display unit and outdoor sensor are within 165 ft (50 m) of each other.
5. Press and release the SET button on the display unit to enter setup mode.
6. Use the ▲ and ▼ buttons to adjust the settings for DST (Daylight Saving Time), time zone, clock hour, clock minute, calendar month, calendar date, calendar year, temperature units, and barometric pressure units.
7. Press and release the SET button to save each adjustment and move on to the next preference.
8. Once all preferences are set, the setup is complete and the display unit will synchronize with the outdoor sensor.
