To set up the Joowin Wi-Fi Extender, follow these steps:
1. Plug in the extender and switch on the power button located on the side. The lights on the extender will illuminate.
2. Wait for about 60 seconds for the extender to initialize.
3. Connect your smartphone or computer to the Wi-Fi network named "JOOWIN_XXX_2G" or "JOOWIN_XXXSG".
4. Open a web browser and enter "192.168.10.1" in the address field.
5. Enter the default password "admin" and click on "SET PASSWORD".
6. The extender will scan for available wireless networks. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to extend.
7. Enter the password for your Wi-Fi network and click on "Save Setting".
8. After the setup is complete, the extender will reboot automatically. Reconnect to the new extended Wi-Fi network named "XXX-2G" or "XXX-5G" (depending on your settings).
9. If desired, you can enable the "Combine wifi" or "Sync your device" options in the advanced settings for additional configuration.
10. Once the setup is successful, you can directly enjoy the extended Wi-Fi without needing to reconnect.
(Note: If your existing network uses the same IP address segment as the default 192.168.10.1, you may need to modify the settings in the advanced setup.)
