To clean the brush roll on the Hoover Dual Power Max Pet Carpet Cleaner, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the product before servicing.
2. Remove the nozzle cover by pulling up and forward on the latch.
3. Lay the product down to access the underside.
4. Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the 6 screws located on the underside of the cleaner (arrows on the manual show the location of the screws).
5. Remove the underside belt cover and the brush roll end cap.
6. Pull both brush rolls out toward the user to remove them from the cleaner. The belt will still be attached to the cleaner.
7. Clean the brush rolls by removing any debris or tangled hair.
8. Reinstall the brush rolls by sliding them back into the unit, making sure they are in the correct orientation.
9. Replace the belt cover and secure it by replacing all 6 screws.
